OUR Aichermühle Milled Grain Products

Aichermühle produces premium flour, dunst, semolina and groats (kibbled grains) from wheat, spelt and rye. Our direct mill operations enable us to customize our flours to meet the unique needs of our customers.

RYE PRODUCTS

  • Rye Flour TYPE 815 (e.g. for yeast dumpling)
  • Rye Flour TYPE 997 (e.g. used with wheat flour 1050 for sour dough bread)
  • Whole Meal Rye Flour
  • Rye Flour Groats [medium kibbled grain](e.g. for multi grain breads or pumpernickel)
  • Malted Rye Flakes (e.g. for bread toping)
  • Whole Rye Grain

SPELT PRODUCTS

Spelt is an ancient grain – it is suitable for people with gluten intolerance and is rich in minerals and vitamins.

  • Spelt Flour Type 630 (used similar to Wheat Flour, but needs 10 to 15 % less water.)
  • Whole Meal Spelt Flour
  • Spelt Flour Groats [medium kibbled grain] (e.g. for multi grain breads or pumpernickel)
  • Spelt Semolina
  • Spelt Flakes (e.g. for bread toping or breakfast cereal)
  • Whole Spelt Grain
  • Spelt Rice (also called Kernotto, similar to risotto rice, but with slightly longer cooking time)
  • Unripe Spelt Grain / (also called Grünkern, e.g. used for soups)

WHEAT PRODUCTS

  • Plain White Wheat Flour Type 550 (all purpose flour)
  • Bakers’ Plain White Wheat Flour Type 550 (same as Plain White Wheat Flour, but better processing tolerance and ideal for bakeries)
  • Wheat Flour TYPE 1050 (e.g. used with rye flour 997 for sourdough bread)
  • Whole Meal Wheat Flour
  • Wheat Flour Dunst (e.g. for pasta)
  • Wheat Semolina
  • Wheat Flour Groats [medium kibbled grain] (e.g. for multi grain breads or pumpernickel)
  • Malted Roasted Wheat Flakes (e.g. for bread toping)
  • Whole Wheat Grain
  • Wheat Gluten
  • Durum Wheat Semolina (e.g. for pasta)

Regular Package size 25 kg, but 2.5, 5 and 10 kg bags are also available for most products.
