THE BREWERY
Schlossbrauerei Stein is a castle with almost 1000 years of history. In its time, it has hosted illustrious guests such as the Empress of Brazil and members of the Romanov czar family. Since 1489, it has also been home to the award-winning brewery of the same name.
It is the brewery’s longstanding credo to conserve natural habitats by using only regionally-sourced ingredients. They have now taken this belief one step further by extending their selection towards organic beers.
THE BEERS
The essentials for brewing an outstanding beer are not just the ingredients: Bavarian hop and malt, the crystal clear spring water and the own cultured yeast; but it is further more: giving enough time to mature the beer in the castle cavern cellar.
